Our Staunton, VA based Civil War reenacting group takes its name from one of the original company belonging to the "Bloody 5th" Regiment of VA volunteers. We are members "Longstreets Corps", a parent organization consisting of more than 40 other reenacating groups.
As part of Thomas J. Jacksons "Stonewall Brigade" The Augusta Greys entered service in April of 1861 and endured as an icon of courage and fortitude throughout the conflict for southern independance
